The following is the latest list of RV and RV-related recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.
Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling 357 2023 Stealth, Classic, and Beast Mode vehicles equipped with AWD. Improperly routed coolant lines may overheat the engine, causing a loss of drive power. Dealers will remove the secondary heat exchanger loop, free of charge. Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling 1,269 2025-2026 Lineage recreational vehicles. The adhesive securing the solar panels to the roof may fail, allowing the solar panel to detach. Dealers will install mechanical fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 24, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling 426 2025-2026 Lineage recreational vehicles. The driver and passenger seat bases may have not been tightened properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, “Seating Systems.” Dealers will inspect and properly tighten the seat bases as necessary, free of charge. Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling 155 2026-2027 Solis recreational vehicles. The liquid propane (LP) hose may be incorrectly routed over the exhaust heat shield. Dealers will reroute the LP hose, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 3, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Chryser (FCA US LLC) is recalling 12,736 2023-2026 Ram 2500 Pick up trucks. A software error in the powertrain control module may improperly allow the vehicle speed to exceed the tire speed rating, which can result in a loss of vehicle control. Dealers will update the powertrain control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 4, 2026. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA’s number for this recall is 43D.
