The following is the latest list of RV and RV-related recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.
Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling 74 2024-2026 GXV Hilt recreational vehicles. The entry door position switch may not make adequate contact to read that the door is closed, which allows the steps to deploy unexpectedly. Dealers will install a ground signal to the door switch circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 18, 2026. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.
