NHTSA Releases its Most Recent Installment of RV Recalls effective March 16th, 2026

The following is the latest list of RV and RV-related recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.

General Motors has decided that 5,482 2027 Chevrolet Bolt EV, 2025-2026 Cadillac OPTIQ, Chevrolet Colorado, Equinox EV, GMC Canyon, 2026 Buick Enclave, Envision, Cadillac CT5, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade IQ, Escalade IQL, LYRIQ, VISTIQ, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Corvette Convertible, Corvette Coupe, Corvette Convertible E-Ray, Equinox, Silverado 1500, 2500, 3500, Silverado EV, Suburban 1500, Tahoe, Traverse, GMC Acadia, Hummer EV Pickup, Hummer EV SUV, Sierra 1500, 2500, 3500, Sierra EV, Terrain, Yukon, and Yukon XL vehicles. The radio may not have been set to the correct status to download the electronic owner’s manual during production. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, “Occupant Protection.” Dealers will reset the vehicle radio, which will facilitate automatic download of the electronic owner’s manual, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 13, 2026. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling 116 2026 Impression fifth wheel recreational trailers. The insulation on the wires may have been improperly removed, exposing conductors. Dealers will inspect and correct the wiring as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 14, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-327-2716. Forest River’s number for this recall is 83-2039.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling 27 2026 Dynamax Europa and Grand Sport GT motorhomes. The distribution panel may not be properly bonded to the chassis ground, allowing a conductor to energize the chassis. Dealers will inspect and add a chassis bonding wire as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 14, 2026. Escape Trailer Industries LTD. (Escape Trailer) is recalling 324 2025 E17, E19, E21, E5.0 recreational trailers. The spare tire carrier may have incorrect welding, causing the carrier to detach from the trailer during transit. Dealers will replace the spare tire carriers, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 2026. Owners may contact Escape Trailer customer service at 1-604-703-1650. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on March 9, 2026.

Pebble Mobility Inc. (Pebble) is recalling 22 2026 Flow recreational trailers. The adhesive securing the solar panels to the roof may fail, causing the solar panel to detach. Pebble will inspect and properly secure the solar panels as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 20, 2026.
