EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is the latest list of RV and RV-related recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.

Storyteller Overland, LLC (Storyteller) is recalling 61 2024-2026 GXV Hilt recreational vehicles. The auxiliary power system wires may have been improperly. The wires may be damaged by contact with the intake manifold. Dealers will inspect, replace, and secure the wires as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 4, 2025. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.

Cruiser RV (Cruiser) is recalling 10 2025 Avenir travel trailers. The underslung axle may not provide enough clearance, allowing the wheel wells to contact and damage the tires. Dealers will replace the underslung axle, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 30, 2025. Owners may contact Cruiser customer service at 1-574-206-7920.

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling 75 2026 Seismic fifth wheel travel trailers. The certification label lists an incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.” Jayco will mail corrected labels, free of charge. Owner letters are expected to be mailed October 3, 2023. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9901638.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling 1,456,417 2015-2019 Lincoln MKC, Mustang, F-350 SD, F-250 SD, F-450 SD, 2015-2017 Lincoln Navigator, Expedition, 2015-2018 Edge, Transit Connect, 2016-2019 F-550 SD, Transit, 2017-2019 Econoline, and 2019 Ranger vehicles. The rearview camera may display a distorted, inverted, or blank image when the vehicle is in reverse. Dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed September 22, 2025. Additional letters will be mailed once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 25S89. This recall expands previous NHTSA recall number 25V270. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning September 8, 2025.
