EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is the latest list of RV and RV-related recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.
Daimler Trucks North America, LLC (DTNA) is recalling 23,276 2026-2027 Freightliner EM2, Freightliner Custom Chassis S2RV, Freightliner Custom Chassis S2C, and Freightliner Business Class M2 vehicles. A software error may cause the low beam headlights to illuminate improperly. The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 20, 2026. Owners may contact DTNA customer service at 1-800-547-0712. DTNA’s number for this recall is F1036.
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling 804 2027 Unmapped, Sabre, No Boundaries, Ibex, Surveyor, Sierra, and Sandpiper travel trailers. The Federal Placard may state an incorrect fresh water tank capacity. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.” Dealers will replace the incorrect label, free of charge. Additionally Forest River will mail corrected labels to owners. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in July 2026. Owners of Surveyor, Ibex, No Boundaries and Unmapped trailers may contact customer service at 1-574-642-3119, or Sabre owners may contact customer service at 1-260-499-2100. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling 69 2026-2027 Pause travel trailers, and OG Luxury Coach recreational vehicles, equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat. Dealers will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in July 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-534-3167. Forest River’s number for this recall is 51-2077.
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling five 2026 Entegra Anthem motorhomes. The tire size may be incorrect on the vehicle certification label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.” Jayco will mail replacement labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 28, 2026. Owner may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9903662.
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling 265 2025 Entegra Reatta XL, Reatta, 2026 Cornerstone Reserve, 2024-2026 Cornerstone, Aspire, and Anthem motorhomes built on certain Spartan K1, K2, and K4 chassis. The exterior brake lights may remain illuminated when the driver is not applying the brakes. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.” Dealers will replace the pressure switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 31, 2026. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.
Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling 69 2025-2027 Realm Presidential motorcoaches. The exterior brake lights may remain illuminated when the driver is not applying the brakes. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.” Foretravel will work with Shyft to replace the pressure switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 21, 2026. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.
Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling 51 2025-2027 P50 coaches. The steer axle air spring base may crack. Dealers will inspect and replace the air springs as necessary and add a support plate to the base, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 3, 2026. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355.
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling 47,587 2021-2023 F-150 and 2023-2026 F-250 SD vehicles equipped with 8-inch SYNC infotainment screens. A software error may cause the rearview camera image to be obstructed by the infotainment home screen menu when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, “Rear Visibility.” The accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed August 17, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available, anticipated in September 2026. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on July 31, 2026.
Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling two 2026 Imagine travel trailers. The outlet cover may have been improperly secured, allowing screws to contact wiring. Dealers will inspect and repair the screws as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letter are expected to be mailed August 17, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design’s number for this recall is 910064.
Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling 10 2026-2027 Lineage motorhomes equipped with the 20-inch wheel and tire package. The tire information label may state the incorrect rear tire pressure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, “Wheels and Rims – Other than Passenger Cars.” Dealers will replace the labels, free of charge. Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling seven 2027 Imagine recreational trailers. The inverter prep circuit conductor may have insufficient overcurrent protection, causing the conductor to overheat. Dealers will replace the breaker, free of charge.
