July 15, 2021, Elkhart, IN – BMPRO’s expansion into the US market is transforming how Americans adventure with the help of Smart RV systems such as JAYCOMMAND®. With over 50 years of experience in power solutions and inspired by the great outdoors, BMPRO has created a range of rugged, smart, and reliable products to power adventures – providing peace of mind when traveling on the road. Following the launch of ProSmart, BMPRO has announced a wide extension of its product lines within the United States.
“We’ve continued to strengthen our American foothold thanks to the creation of distribution and customer support center in Elkhart that act as our boots on the American soil”, said David Bayliss, Brand Ambassador of BMPRO.
“Beyond this, our partnership with a variety of acclaimed RV manufacturers such as THOR Industries and Jayco has given BMPRO the opportunity to leave its mark on an industry ripe for innovation and inspiration”.
This collaboration between companies has seen an increasing number of vehicles outfitted with cutting edge ‘smart’ technologies, allowing RVers to monitor and/or control a greater number of features from control panels either located within their RV or through a specialized app available on their smartphone. Since 2019, the brand has provided smart system integration to Jayco’s top of the line North Point® and Pinnacle® fifth wheel models, while providing further ease of comfort adding these systems to Seismic® and Talon® toy haulers. Building on this success, the brand further expanded this integration across Eagle® 5th wheels, Eagle HT travel trailers as well as White Hawk®, Jay Feather®, Jay Flight® and Octane® toy haulers in 2020.
Particularly, the company’s work with Jayco has helped provide customers with a wider range of functionality and control through the JAYCOMMAND smart system. The integration of JAYCOMMAND with third party technologies enable RV leveling, monitoring of solar power, Wi-Fi systems, lighting, awnings, and slide-outs. The integration allows one app to control multiple RV functions, providing increased utility to both end-users and manufacturers due to the flexibility of the BMPRO system. The company has also enabled an additional layer of control over RVs via cloud to allow users to manage RV functions remotely – providing additional comfort.
“BMPRO has been leading the way in developing smart technologies, and integrated mobile platforms to also help RV enthusiasts keep updated about the usage of utilities such as water, gas and electricity to make sustainable decisions”, said Bayliss.
Earlier in 2020, enhanced JAYCOMMAND with the SmartConnect connectivity. SmartConnect sensors allow customers to receive data about temperature, tire pressure and propane gas levels. This innovation has enabled a greater number of users the ability to monitor the use of important resources and functions within their RV from the JAYCOMMAND app powered by BMPRO. The move signals a key focus on flexibility from the brand as users can select which SmartConnect products they want without being locked into purchasing the whole system.
Since its inception, BMPRO has been at the heart of powering adventures on the road less traveled. As a technology disruptor in the RV management space, BMPRO’s development of future proofed systems is designed to help all customers, from first-time owners of a motorhome to experienced RVers.
