The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association is pleased to report that RV Wholesale Shipments into Canada for the 1st Quarter ending March 31st, 2021 totaled 13,852 units compared to 8,634 in 2020, representing an increase of 60.44% for the period over last year.
The RV and Camping Industry in Canada significantly increased in awareness to new consumers in 2020 during the pandemic and high consumer demand for the lifestyle has continued into 2021.
The Canadian RV Association is forecasting that “while increased production and improving supply chain issues will assist RV Retailers to finalize presold units, it will not be sufficient to significantly replenish their current low inventory levels. We expect that demand from Canadian RV enthusiasts will still exceed supply throughout most of 2021”
