EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is the latest list of RV and RV-related recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling 219,577 2019-2021 Ram ProMaster and 2019-2020 Dodge Journey vehicles. Cracks in the microprocessor may cause the vehicle’s rearview camera image not to display properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, “Rear Visibility. Dealers will replace the rearview camera, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed beginning September 30, 2025. A second notice will be sent once the final remedy is available. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling 2,379 2018-2026 Riverstone fifth-wheel trailers. The steel hydraulic brake lines may fail and leak brake fluid. Dealers will inspect and replace the brake lines, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 3, 2025. Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling 148 2026 Springdale and Hideout travel trailers. The pivot brackets on the bunk bed may bend or break. Dealers will replace the brackets, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 14, 2025. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone’s number for this recall is 25-472.
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling 355,656 2025-2026 F-550 SD, F-450 SD, F-350 SD, F-250 SD, and 2025 F-150 vehicles. The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may fail at startup. The instrument panel cluster software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 2, 2025. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling 209 2024-2026 East to West Entrada recreational vehicles. Due to an incorrectly wired 7-way harness, the trailer brakes may lock up when the RV brakes are applied. Dealers will disconnect, cap, and mark the power wire as a tracer, free of charge. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling seven 2026 Flagstaff and Rockwood recreational trailers. The breakaway switch was wired to the incorrect side of the battery disconnect switch, making the breakaway switch inoperative. Dealers will rewire the breakaway switch, free of charge. All vehicles are located on dealer lots. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-642-8942. Forest River’s number for this recall is 10-1966.
Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) is recalling 650 2023 PL500, 2023-2024 PL700, 2023-2025 RM500, RM900, ST450, 2024-2025 PL550, PL750, 2024 PR300, 2025 RM450, RM550, and RM800. A software error may cause the radio and speakers to overheat. ATC will work with Maxxsonics to mail instructions and a USB with a software update. All speakers will be inspected and replaced as necessary. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 9, 2025.
