The following is the latest list of RV recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.

Defective Belt Cushion Splice May Cause Air Loss

An air bubble in the sidewall may cause a rapid loss of air pressure and loss of vehicle control, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 6,992

Yokohama is recalling certain 504C, size 11R22.5 16H tires. A defective belt cushion splice may allow air to leak into sidewall.

Dealers will inspect and replace the affected tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 2, 2023. Owners may contact Yokohama’s customer service at 1-800-423-4544.

Tire Pressure Regulation System Failure

Tire pressure loss while driving can cause a loss of stability and control or tire tread separation, increasing the crash risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 786

Fruehauf) is recalling certain 2025 trailers equipped with Tire Pilot Plus tire pressure regulation systems. All eight tires may experience a loss of tire pressure while driving faster than 45 mph.

As an interim action, owners will be instructed to disable the Tire Pilot Plus system. The final remedy is currently under development. Interim owner notification letters informing owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed in September 2023. A second notice will be sent once the remedy is available.
