The following is the latest list of RV recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify their dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles and the appropriate remedy.
Ford Motor Company is recalling 1,278 2022 F-150 vehicles that were repaired incorrectly under recall 22V686. The parking lights may flicker when the headlights are activated. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.” Dealers will replace the light emitting diode control module and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 15. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 25C37.
Ford Motor Company is recalling 10,3174 2023-2025 F-150 vehicles equipped with the Trailer Tow Max Duty package and a 9.75-inch heavy duty axle with a 3/4 float axle design. The rear axle hub bolt may fatigue and break, which can result in damage to the axle hub splines. Dealers will replace the left and right rear axle shaft assemblies, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in phases, beginning Aug. 18 through May 22. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford’s number for this recall is 25S82. This recall expands previous NHTSA recall number 23V896.
Winnebago Industries Inc. is recalling 655 2024-2025 Ekko recreational vehicles. The inner wheel tire valve extension may be damaged through contact with the outer wheels, causing the inner tire to lose air pressure and overload the outer tire. Dealers will inspect and replace the valve extensions as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 2. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago’s number for this recall is 200.
Storyteller Overland LLC is recalling 106 2023 Mode LT recreational vehicles. The exterior shore power inlet may have been improperly tightened. Dealers will replace the shore power inlets, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 19. Owners may contact Storyteller customer service at 1-888-999-7442.
Brinkley RV is recalling 35 2025 Model Z trailers. The electrical wiring may not be secured properly, which can result in damaged wiring and a short circuit. Dealers will secure the electrical wires, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Aug. 2025. Owners may contact Brinkley customer service at 1-574-501-4280. Brinkley’s number for this recall is REC-2503.
