Canadian Class A and Class motorhome registrations continued to climb as overall sales showed a 38.2% gain for the first 11 months of 2017.
According to the latest report from Statistical Surveys Inc. (SSI), Thor Industries Inc. was the motorized sales leader through November, capturing a 40.9% market share, ahead of Forest River Inc. with a 35.8% share and Winnebago Industries Inc. (11%).
Class A registrations rose 18.4% through November as Thor led the segment with a 35.6% market share followed by Forest River (19.5%), REV Group (12.3%) and Winnebago (12.2%).
In the Class C sector, sales rose 50.1% for the 11 months. Thor led the category with a 43.6% market share while Forest River captured 43.4% and Winnebago had a 10.5% share.
